Technetium tetrachloride and β-TcCl3, synthesized from the reaction of Tc metal and Cl2(g) in sealed tubes, were characterized by X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy measurements are in good agreement with the X-ray diffraction structures of the two compounds. For TcCl4, the absorbing Tc atom is surrounded by Cl atoms at 2.34(2) Å and Tc atoms at 3.66(4) Å. For β-TcCl3, the absorbing Tc atom is surrounded by Cl atoms at 2.40(2) Å and Tc atoms at 2.81(3), 3.66(4) and 5.71(6) Å. EXAFS spectroscopy indicates that the TcCl4 and β-TcCl3 samples obtained by sealed tube reactions are single phase. The X-ray absorption near edge structure spectra of TcCl4 and β-TcCl3 were recorded; the positions of the Tc K-edges of β-TcCl3 (21,050.5 eV) and TcCl4 (21,053.0 eV) are compared to the ones measured for α-TcCl3 (21,051.0 eV) and TcCl2 (21,048.8 eV). A correlation between the positions of the Tc K-edges and the oxidation state of the Tc atom in technetium binary chlorides was determined. 相似文献

A facile and environmentally friendly electrochemical protocol is herein reported for the C(sp2)−C(sp3) cross dehydrogenative coupling between imidazopyridines and N,N-dimethylanilines. The broad functional group compatibility includes halogens, ester, alcohol, sulfone as well as thiophene. We perform extensive finite difference time domain simulations of ferrite based negative index of refraction composites. A wire grid is employed to provide negative permittivity. The ferrite and wire grid interact to provide both negative and positive index of refraction transmission peaks in the vicinity of the ferrite resonance. Notwithstanding the extreme anisotropy in the index of refraction of the composite, negative refraction is seen at the composite air interface allowing the construction of a focusing concave lens with a magnetically tunable focal length. 相似文献

This remarkable phenomenon relies on a nanoporous supramolecular network, which acts as a template to seed periodic molecule rotors on the surface. In crystal optics and quantum electrodynamics in gravitational vacua, the propagation of light is not described by a metric, but an area metric geometry. In this article, this prompts us to study conditions for linear electrodynamics on area metric manifolds to be well-posed. This includes an identification of the timelike future cones and their duals associated to an area metric geometry, and thus paves the ground for a discussion of the related local and global causal structures in standard fashion. In order to provide simple algebraic criteria for an area metric manifold to present a consistent spacetime structure, we develop a complete algebraic classification of area metric tensors up to general transformations of frame. This classification, valuable in its own right, is then employed to prove a theorem excluding the majority of algebraic classes of area metrics as viable spacetimes. Physically, these results classify and drastically restrict the viable constitutive tensors of non-dissipative linear optical media. 相似文献

Anomalous nonlinear effects in the alkylation of substituted benzaldehydes with diethylzinc using aminoalcohol catalysts are rationalized in terms of a simple extension of the Noyori model to allow for nonthermodynamically controlled partitioning of the catalyst between monomeric and dimeric species.
